That’s right! The wait is almost over!

This upcoming second edition of the HDL Universal Tactical Role-playing Game has more than a new name: it’s been rebuilt practically from the ground up, to provide a more fluid and exciting role-playing experience. Featuring all the expanded material slated for the Options Guide, this edition also features:

Full color interior and illustrations.
154 Backgrounds and Weaknesses.
Revised skills.
Simplified health and damage systems.
A completely rebuilt active/real-time combat system.
Extended rules for special maneuvers, martial arts, diseases, poisons, drugs, and even nuclear weapons.
More succinct rules for firearms, and more complete listings of weapons and armor.
Expanded ESPer abilities (now including a total of 46 skills).
Complete magic system complete with new Backgrounds, skills and 379+ spells.
Bestiary including real-world and fantastic creatures, including dragons, vampires and werewolves.
Expanded and revised cards, increasing the variety while decreasing deck size.

Paragon will be available as a PDF download soon, along with the revised and greatly expanded Paragon versions of the Demongate High, Perfect Horizon and LUCID game settings. These will be followed by Infinite Vector, a deep-space sci-fi setting expanding the world and timeline of Perfect Horizon, and The Embers of Pyre, a fantasy setting building greatly on the Paragon magic rules.
