			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This week, Tremorworks proudly launched the second edition of the HDL Universal Role-Playing Game: <a href="http://tremorworks.com/games/paragon">Paragon</a>.</p>
<p>The Paragon Universal Role-Playing Game offers greatly expanded and revised rules, as well as a completely revamped combat and damage system. We’ve included a complete magic system, and integrated cybernetics into the core rules. A lot of attention has been paid to revising and streamlining the book and the rules in general.</p>
<p><a href="http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=96420">Paragon is now available as a digital download</a>, with the Paragon Package consisting of the 335-page full-color book, a printable set of the essential Paragon cards, and a separate character sheet. On-demand print options will also be available shortly. In addition, existing HDL game settings will soon be available in revised Paragon editions, including a completely free revision to LUCID: Dreamscape Reality as well as an update to Perfect Horizon, taking place roughly ten years after the original “cyberpop” setting; both will be available by the end of 2011.</p>

<p>This upcoming second edition of the <a href="http://tremorworks.com/games/hdl-system">HDL Universal Tactical Role-playing Game</a> has more than a new name: it’s been rebuilt practically from the ground up, to provide a more fluid and exciting role-playing experience. Featuring all the expanded material slated for the Options Guide, this edition also features:</p>

<li>Full color interior and 	illustrations.</li>
<li>154 Backgrounds and Weaknesses.</li>
<li>Revised skills.</li>
<li>Simplified health and damage 	systems.</li>
<li>A completely rebuilt 	active/real-time combat system.</li>
<li>Extended rules for special 	maneuvers, martial arts, diseases, poisons, drugs, and even nuclear 	weapons.</li>
<li>More succinct rules for firearms, 	and more complete listings of weapons and armor.</li>
<li>Expanded ESPer abilities (now 	including a total of 46 skills).</li>
<li>Complete magic system complete 	with new Backgrounds, skills and 379+ spells.</li>
<li>Bestiary including real-world and 	fantastic creatures, including dragons, vampires and werewolves.</li>
<li>Expanded and revised cards, 	increasing the variety while decreasing deck size.</li>
</ul>
<p>Paragon will be available as a PDF download soon, along with the revised and greatly expanded Paragon versions of the <em><a href="http://tremorworks.com/games/hdl-system/demongate-high/">Demongate High</a>, <a href="http://tremorworks.com/games/hdl-system/perfect-horizon/">Perfect Horizon</a> </em>and<em> <a href="http://tremorworks.com/games/hdl-system/lucid/">LUCID</a></em> game settings. These will be followed by <em>Infinite Vector</em>, a deep-space sci-fi setting expanding the world and timeline of <em>Perfect Horizon</em>, and <em>The Embers of Pyre</em>, a fantasy setting building greatly on the Paragon magic rules.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We&#8217;re doing a little restructuring here at Tremorworks, in order to better serve our customers and focus on our core products.</p>
<p>All of our games will now fall into 3 different categories, or game series. The series are as follows.</p>
<p><em><strong>Foreshock</strong>: </em>Games in the <em>Foreshock</em> series will all be of the board and card game varieties. Nothing too heavy here. Our current game <a href="http://tremorworks.com/elementalis">ElementaliS</a> falls directly into this category.</p>
<p><em><strong>Epicenter</strong>: Epicenter</em> games are the core games that Tremorworks will offer. Our <a href="http://tremorworks.com/hdl-system/">HDL System</a> falls into this category, as will all our RPG material from now on.</p>
<p><em><strong>Aftershock</strong>: </em>The <em>Aftershock</em> series is something new for Tremorworks, and very exciting. Games in the <em>Aftershock</em> series will be free to print and play. This can include board and card games, or even smaller RPG sets and modules.</p>
<p>We hope you enjoy our current, and future offerings. We&#8217;ll have some major news coming up soon about our next release into the <em>Epicenter</em> series.</p>
